Passion Penny understands successful partnerships require a passion for the brand and are more than just race results. Penny is looking to work with brands who encompass her values and passion for the sport.
Health Research Penny is passionate about female athletes health and wellbeing and is currently doing her PhD on education and REDs in female triathletes. She hopes her research will aid in future education courses for triathlon and help to prevent injuries and illnesses among female triathletes.
Advocacy and Inclusivity As part of the Queer community Penny is hoping to lead the way in making the triathlon community more inclusive to people of all backgrounds. She is also steadfast in her advocacy for the Indigenous Peoples of Australia and is passionate about working with Indigenous Peoples to make the triathlon community more inclusive.
Grassroots Penny is embedded in the local triathlon community and works closely with two local triathlon clubs providing guidance on athlete development. In 2023 Penny also started her own scholarship and mentor program for female triathletes. Over 150 athletes applied for the program this year with two being selected. As well as support from Penny’s current partners Penny provided them with guidance, coaching and mentorship throughout the year with both of them achieving their goals of qualifying for World Championships in their respective events.
